What to Expect
This is a hands-on workshop. The techniques are delicate and require a certain level of dexterity and independence, but don’t worry—guidance will be provided every step of the way. If you’re unsure whether the workshop is right for you, please get in touch—I’m happy to discuss your needs and help you decide. My goal is for every participant to feel comfortable, confident, and able to fully enjoy the experience.
Age Guidance: The workshop is suitable for adults 18 and over. Participants aged 16–18 are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult—please contact me before booking.
What to Bring: You don’t need to bring anything, but you’re welcome to bring a notebook, an apron, a drink (water, tea, or coffee), and reading glasses if you use them.
Class Times: 10am – 4.30pm
There will be a 1-hour lunch break each day. Please note that, due to health and safety reasons, packed lunches can’t be eaten inside the studio. Instead, you can take a short stroll around Ouseburn and find a spot to enjoy your lunch outdoors, or treat yourself to something delicious at one of the local cafés. You’re also welcome to use your 10% discount voucher at the Biscuit Factory Kitchen for a lovely lite lunch or coffee/tea.
Please note that sessions may run slightly over the scheduled end time, depending on the complexity of student designs — it’s a good idea to allow an extra 20 minutes at the end of each day.
Studio Guidelines: For safety and comfort in the studio, please tie back long hair, wear closed-toe shoes, and avoid loose clothing or dangling jewellery.
