The London Artisan – Autumn Edition

“ The best fair in London to buy direct from Designer Makers ”
The London Artisan offers a diverse, quality, shopping experience that celebrates independent producers and makers. But more than that, it’s about people and place; meeting the makers, conversation with friends and embedding the social back into shopping. The London Artisan presents a unique selection of jewellery, ceramics, glassware, textiles, homewares, illustration and beauty products.

This two day selling event is consumer oriented and offers visitors the opportunity to meet the designers and view, buy or commission products. The London Artisan is a must see for those passionate about handmade, organic and sustainable goods.

For the first time…

…I made a sterling silver wedding band for a groom. A simple ring but an important one.

Come to Whitley Bay for the Carnival. The annual carnival parade is the centrepiece of a colourful family day out bringing crowds to the Spanish City Plaza and Links to enjoy circus, street arts, live music and more alongside traditional seaside shuggy boats and fairground rides, street food craft ale bars, the arts market and trade stalls.

The market runs from 10.00 – 18.00 on Saturday 26 May.

British Craft Trade Fair – even more excited….

Now there is almost a month to go for this trade fair. I am almost prepared though so much to do.

Just re-reading some of the articles from BCTF website such as this one that makes me proud:

Why choose BCFT? – 43 years in the making…..BCTF showcases the and the largest collection of the UK’s most talented designer-makers, its dedication to promoting British is unparalleled.  Exhibitors are carefully selected and their contemporary and innovative designs range from Home, Gift, Fashion and Craft to Art and Garden” (original text can be found here).

As far as I can see, I am the only North East new comer in the jewellery category which makes me even prouder- is that possible?
