Save the dates!
Events and Festival season is officially starting in June.

The first one is the great Alnmouth Art Festival which will take place between Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th June. Apart from all the venues and houses that host North East's finest artists and makers there are lots of other activities such as concerts, workshops, garden visits and more! You should check their programme of events- you might need to book some of the events so be quick!

Sunday July 16th is the Make and Mend Festival which will be taking place at the grounds of the lovely National Trust location of Ormesby Hall in Redcar. This festival is a day full of colour, creativity, positivity and wellbeing. It is the perfect introduction to a variety of crafts, giving you a chance to learn something new or enhance your existing skills. There is also the makers market on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July. You can find all the information via this on their website. Booking is essential if you wish to attend the workshops or other activities. There is a free entry on Saturday 15th July to the Ormesby Hall and grounds if you are not a National Trust member.

And in August I will be at the Skipton Auction Mart for the Art in the Pen event -19th and 20th August. You must see how artists and makers transfer the cattle pens into galleries. It is a lovely, friendly and relaxed environment to see new, emerging and established talent. You can book your tickets at their website!
