No experience is needed to join this workshop! You’ll craft a set of three rings that can be stacked or worn individually, and customize one with a gemstone bezel setting. Along the way, you’ll learn essential silversmithing skills—including sawing, shaping, soldering, and finishing—while creating pieces you’ll be proud to take home.

Perfect for beginners, this workshop also offers a chance for those with experience to refine and expand their skills. Hosted by skilled jeweler Ruby Tynan at the Silverkupe Studio, it’s a relaxed, hands-on introduction to jewellery making and stone setting.

Minimum numbers
This is a small-group workshop and requires a minimum of 4 attendees to run. If minimum numbers aren’t met, I’ll contact you 5 days before the workshop so you can choose to transfer to another date (subject to availability) or receive a refund.

What to Expect

This is a hands-on workshop. The techniques are delicate and require a certain level of dexterity and independence, but don’t worry—guidance will be provided every step of the way. If you’re unsure whether the workshop is right for you, please get in touch—I’m happy to discuss your needs and help you decide. My goal is for every participant to feel comfortable, confident, and able to fully enjoy the experience.

Age Guidance: The workshop is suitable for adults 18 and over. Participants aged 16–18 are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult—please contact me before booking.

What to Bring: You don’t need to bring anything, but you’re welcome to bring a notebook, an apron, a drink (water, tea, or coffee), and reading glasses if you use them.

Studio Guidelines: For safety and comfort in the studio, please tie back long hair, wear closed-toe shoes, and avoid loose clothing or dangling jewellery.
